D130

_I am a big fan of Land Rover and its iconic shape, recognisable from the first glance. After a photoshoot of a classic D90 I did a couple month ago, I decided to design something on this topic, but slightly different - an off-road motorcycle carrier based on a single cab Defender 130.  A vehicle for rally support teams and motorbike riders.

_I wanted the vehicle to have a light, utilitarian, aggressive look with visible frame and open chassis.  A car which is easy to maintain, fun to drive and quirky enough to show it to your LR enthusiasts friends.

_The front of the vehicle is a mix of different generations. Overall shape is based on Defender itself, whereas in some details it reminds of Series II or even Series I.  The front end has shorter hood, small position lights on the sides and a center grill, offset to the rear.  The rear end of a car has two spare wheels (which can be replaced with two sets of spare wheels for the motorcycle), a tool cabinet, a dedicated space for two motorcycles, a ramp and an off road recovery kit.

And here's a fictional Marlboro team support vehicle ...inspired by my own fixed gear bike
